The Deadly Poison of Envy – Ed Lapiz

Posted on September 22, 2008. Filed under: Ed Lapiz | Tags: , |

Do what God asked you to do.  Use the talents and skills he blessed you with.

Makigalak sa tagumpay ng iba.

If your relative becomes rich, thank God that your burdens become lighter.

Seek to appreciate and love the object of your envy.  Recognize that they also have their burdens.  They’re having a difficult time.

To the rich, be as inconspicuous as possible.  We don’t need to prove anything.  Don’t let the jealousy out of people.

There’s no permanent situation. If you’re down to jealousy, don’t let yourself sink deeper with jealousy

What is our motivation to excel?  Is it to glorify God or to just be better than someone else?

For the privileged: Help and love those envious and share such good things.
